Poor, poor Brett, must have been torture not being the top topic in
sports for a whole two weeks

Jet Favre

Jet Favre

Favre, you are my favorite QB ever, but good god, be a man. You should
have broached to the subject like “Hey Ted, I’m thinking about coming
back.” Instead of sitting there like a little girl biting her nails
waiting to be asked to the prom.

You’ll see, as the season goes on, this is a man who was broken and
will never let this go. It’ll all come crashing down in the middle of
the season when he quits.

Favre really just can’t keep his mouth shut for 5 minutes can he?
We’ll see how much he wants to talk when he starts getting grilled by
the NY media.

Wow, he just can’t move on and let it go can he? Its a done deal… who
cares now?

Maybe if Favre didn’t hold the team hostage every year trying to make
up his ****ing mind about if was going to play or not they wouldn’t
have thrown your ass out the door.

I long for the day Favre disappears to Mississippi forever. Might be a
long time from now.

Karma will come back and give Brett a horrible season with the
terrible Jets. That’s stuff that should stay between him and GB
management, not to air out to a newspaper. Brett just sounds like a
whiny little bitch now.

Maybe it was your horrendous salary.

Brett – Give me a freakin break… Oh, woe is me, Ted didn’t give me a
back rub and a foot massage when he came to visit me. He didn’t beg me
to come back. Say nothing about the fact that I didn’t bring the
subject up, lets blame it all on Ted. I am a lifelong Packer fan and loved Brett as a player,
but seriously, is he for real?!?!?!

It seems he’s still having trouble dealing with the fact that the
Packers didn’t want him any longer.

He’s now got his new start in New York, and then he goes and brings up
the past. Just move on, Brett.

The thing about the locker is weird … I seriously think Thompson
thought he was doing something nice for the guy .. Favre read it
totally differently.

And he still doesn’t get it. They were looking towards the future, not
just this year. They wanted to avoid the fate of the Cowboys after
Aikman and the 49ers after Young. If Lord Brett had come back for one
more year and Rodgers took off as well, then what? Not a Packer fan,
but it’s good to see a team actually trying to prepare for the future,
instead of taking a future-be-damned, win now mentality.

Here is an Idea Brett, the next time you make a decision, keep it to
yourself, then wait until you change your mind and tell people. You
will seem much less like a doddering old fool and people won’t offer
to send you used boxed furniture.

Is Brett still whining? Jesus. Wake me up when it’s over.

Brett maybe they just got tired of your maybe I’ll play maybe not
antics over the past 4 years.

Mr. Fabiano! I offer my sincerest and deepest apology! I used to “cuss
you out” when you used the Lord Favre reference! As it turns out, you
were “dead on” and the rest of us were in “la la” land!

1. inordinate fascination with oneself; excessive self-love; vanity.
2. Psychoanalysis. erotic gratification derived from admiration of
one’s own physical or mental attributes, being a normal condition at
the infantile level of personality development.
3. Brett Favre.

Brett you are a JET now. Get out of the Packer locker room. Note to
the media: Just let him keep talking. He’ll ramble on until you get
your sound bite.

Just when I thought I was done hearing about this story, Favre stirs
the pot one more time. Just shut the **** up…

Why is Favre talking about anything other than the Jets season. GET
OVER IT!!! We’ve moved on Brett, maybe you should too.

Yes! More Favre news! It’s been way too long, old friend.

Does he get back into how Ted Thompson wouldn’t let Brett name the
head coach he wanted, acquire the players Brett wanted and let Brett
dictate the offensive philosophy and call plays?
Good riddance, Brett.

hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.

seriously, dude, get some therapy.

You retired. You Quit. You walked out the door.

You ******** ***** ** **** Diva.

Let it go, TO…err, Brett.

Brett Favre is a tool. One thing we can count on is that Rogers will
throw fewer INTs than Brett this season.

Best chance to win? Favre hasn’t won a championship in over a decade.
He’s a has-been who’s hype has overblown his actual acheivements since
the turn of the century.

What a douchebag. I bet he hates Michael Phelps for stealing his
spotlight.

Does he remember the year of 29 INTs? Cause I do. He’s fortunate he
was in a small market of diehard fans and didn’t get his ass kicked
out the door a lot sooner.

Favre should have whiny little bitch tattooed on his forehead. What slime.

I think it’s a nice gesture to send a retired guy his locker for
posterity. They could have made it part of some money-making local
museum or given it to the Pro Football HoF. The only way that could be
taken as offensive is if a guy really isn’t retired and had been lying
to the world for the previous several months.

What a knobjob. `but to not welcome me back…’ for four freaking years
you’ve been yankin us around. This guy thinks he’s god. I hope someone
whacks him in new york. I’m so tired of him.

I wish the Packers would pay him $25 million just to shut up. This guy
is worse than my mother in law, at least she changes the subject every
once in a while.

I’m really surprised that anyone still speaks to Lord Farve knowing
that their entire conversation will wind up in the media.

Pull the tampon out and start being a man. This is the same guy who
let his Mama do his talkin’ for him.

Wow. The more Favre opens his mouth, the more I’m glad he’s no longer
with my beloved Packers. Maybe it’s his new New York attitude.

Brett, you were great once, no doubt. But you ain’t no Bart Starr. And
in Packerland, no one is bigger than the team.

I’m glad Thomson and McCarthy stuck to their guns. Win or lose, I’d
still rather have the ego-less Rodgers at QB.

I’m not sure who I’m more tired of listening to – Favre or Steve
Mariucci whining about how unfair the Packers have been to Favre.

All I want is for him to stink the place up while with the Jets, then
join the Vikings and make it to so he knocks the Packers out of the
playoffs with a last second heroic drive. – Viking Fan

This shows exactly what kind of person he is. Just showed his true
colors! Why is he still talking about this since he’s with another
team. Just tells you that he’s a spoiled brat who obviously needs to
get over himself.

I hope this clears up who is the biggest douche bag in this whole
saga. Just keep going Favre, every time you open your mouth, you just
prove that TT and MM are not as horrible as you tried to make them to be.

What a joke!!!

prediction: Jets go 4-12 & brett throws at least 20 int’s….be gone
favre…YOU RETIRED, IT WAS YOUR CHOICE!!!

just remember, jets and jets-fans… Brett is concentrating on Ted
Thompson and the packers… not on winning games.

Brett, you opened your big mouth and now the whole world knows why Ted
was justified in wanting your ass out of town. Too bad TT didn’t bury
your sorry behind in that locker under 10 feet of Mississippi swamp.

I hoped you’ve talked your way out of a personal services contract
with the Packers and having your number retired. We don’t want to see
you in Wisconsin EVER again.
